Tricia Whipple

Our Founder

Tricia Whipple brings over 25 years of family history research experience to Lotus Genealogy Solutions. Specialising in genetic genealogy since 2017, Tricia has helped countless individuals uncover their ancestry, resolve family mysteries, and reconnect with biological relatives. Her empathetic approach stems from her background in counselling, health and social justice, and genealogical research.

More recently Tricia has joined the Cold Case Coalition as a Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogist (Volunteer). The Cold Case Coalition is a nonprofit organisation that helps families, communities and law enforcement with unresolved deaths or disappearances, cold cases and historical mass graves, such as the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921.  

Tricia is a member of:

The Association of Professional Genealogists.

The International Society of Genetic Genealogists (ISOGG).

The Australian Genealogy Society.

Her research experience spans Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, Great Britain and Ireland. In addition Tricia’s extensive experience in researching European family histories, including tracing ancestral roots and records from Prussia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Slovenia, France, Finland, and modern Germany, with a deep understanding of diverse cultural and historical contexts.

Martin Kealey

Martin Kealey serves as our privacy advocate and technical specialist, bringing almost 40 years of expertise in computing, data management, engineering, analysis, and security.

Martin has previously worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Google (Australia) as well as roles as a Senior Systems Engineer and Open Systems Specialist in his native New Zealand. 

Martin ensures that your personal data is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and privacy.
